took him 3-4 hours to assemble. Had to buy new handles because the screws provided were too short and I couldn’t find any at Lowe’s to fit. The drawers stick and don’t close all the way. I want to return but so much work to take apart and get back in two boxes. Yes, came in two boxes. I regret buying a bed online but too late now.
Im still in the process of putting this together, the Instructions are hard to read and some of the drawings arent correct which makes it even more difficult. Some pieces came scuffed up a little but it is very sturdy and this was the lowest price full size daybed frame I could find on the internet.
The daybed is well made, and not too difficult to put together. Ive been using it when family members visit for the weekend, and have had no problem with it being comfortable for people over 150 pounds. I bought a ten inch mattress for the top, and a six inch mattress for the bottom. Serves our family well.
I am 65yr old adult female and I have to share my room with an emotionally handicapped young college student I sort of adopted. We were sleeping in a bunk bed and it was miserable! So, we agreed to redo the room with 2 twin storage beds. I just love this bed! It is sturdy, solid, thick real wood and, it was easy for the two of us to assemble.
Were one week in and my daughter loves it. Packaging was excellent and the instructions were clear. It says not to use a power drill, but we did with the clutch set kind of low so as not to break anything. The bed seems sturdy and is attractive. The side panels are very thin and my be a weak point if user isnt careful. Seems to be at least as high of quality as you would find at Big Lots.
All in all were happy.
Easy to put together once the manufacturer sent to missing parts. They were very responsive once they were informed of the error in the parts inventory.
Would buy it again.
I love this daybed. Having a small apartment, I needed something that had multiple functions. This is very sturdy and also good looking at the same time. It was so simple to put together. Just love it.
