It came a lot earlier than expected! Which was great. Box looked a little rough but there was no damage to wood. It’s very beautiful. Glad I purchased.
As usual the instructions are terrible. Took all day for one person to put together. Some of the holes were a little off. But, when complete it works awesome and looks great. Our 5 year old loves it.
I have had the bed for a while and I wanted to see how it faired a few months in before I reviewed. WELL. I love it! My daughter is 6 and she loves it too. Its high enough for her to feel like a big girl but not so high that it would scare her.
Putting it together was fairly easy. I am a 52 single mom and I was able to carry the boxes and put the bed together all in my own. You may think this is irrelevant but for some of US its imperative that we do things on our own.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: One of the boxes was damaged in transit and when I reached out their CRS they sent out a new box right away. A company is only as good as its customers service. You guys are absolutely amazing!
There are some cracks on the wood. The screws were soo dificult to work with and they strip really easily. 1 bag of screws had 2 different types that looks extremly similar so that made it a bit dificult to know which is which. I do believe the bed part is best build with 2 people while the rest is duable by 1 person alone.
The bed shakes a lot. Supports need to be added on the bottom.
It looks nice, but the wood is so soft it marks up extremely easy. The instructions are a pain, because the scale of the pieces is way off thereby confusing you on assembly.
Not as stable as Id hoped but my daughter loves it! Very versatile... we kept the shelf for a wall bookcase and put the drawers under the end creating a hang out underneath!
It’s a good bed so far the instructions are not great at all trying to put it together and I had some pieces of wood with cracks in them but overall it’s works for what I need at the moment. Had some lose parts that I had to rig to make it tighter and o was missing the insert to one of the drawers. They could do a lot better with the instructions.
My daughter loves her new bed. It is perfect for her! I love the play area underneath, we play hide and seek and this gives her perfect nooks to hide out. She has so much fun using the ladder which is very sturdy. We did our down a sheet of ply wood under the bed along with the wooden slacks because we cant always be there to say no jumping on the bed lol
I recommend having a power drill and any piece that the large metal screws go into, drill the hole a little bigger. You’ll never get them all in correctly unless you do.
It took us 8 hours to build from start to finish, with no breaks.
My daughter LOVES it and yeah, I get in it when I make the bed! It’s sturdy!!
