    Sprained Ankle Build!

    It took me roughly 5 hours to assemble it. Was building it on a sprained ankle and had to assemble a lot of it sitting down. A few of the middle beams didnt line up with the slots on the sides. But I eventually got it. Its a good bed though!

    False Description

    I just purchased this bed in Full size for my daughter. The thing is, I totally overlooked that the bed requires a box spring. Thats right, I said REQUIRES a box spring. So I took off a star merely for this product being described as mattress support. Maybe a traditional mattress may start off okay but overtime, I bet youll be getting slats or seeing a chiropractor. A foam mattress? No way, unless you weigh next to nothing. Anyway, the full size version properly recommends a box spring, but crazily this item for an even heavier mattress is not recommending a box spring or even slats. I know why they dont say to get slats, because pre-made or even self made slat supports are not drop ins. This bed lacks lips and middle support for slats. Heres what I had to do to correct my error in buying a non-platform canopy bed. Big box stores like Home Depot sell flat steel bars, 72 long and 1/8 inch thick, get 3 of them; at the time theyre about $8 a piece. Get a roll of velcro for about $5. Now drop in the flat bars on each side of the inner frame and one right down the middle. It might need to be a little offset because of the screws used for the supporting plastic legs which is fine. I recommend using Velcro to the underside of them to keep them in place, I only did the middle flat bar. You could drill holes into the steel if you want, but I think thats far more work than its worth. I cut my slats at 53.8 so they wedge right in-between the frame, so the side steel bars are going nowhere. However, if you buy pre-made slats youre now drop in ready. Youll see in my photo, I stapled nylon rope alongside of my slats. I got that idea from the other platform beds I just bought and built for my other kids. I can just roll it off when my daughter want to take her bed with her, if and when she ever moves out.

    Queen=Full so go BIGGER!

    Bed height is smaller than it looks. I ordered a Queen but I had a extremely hard time to get my mattress to fit in it. Had to get a smaller mattress-a full for it to fit and be comfortable. Sucks! Bed is beautiful though. Itll make a great gift for a young girl!

    I looked around for a few to get a good price this one was the one it was easy to install I would recommend getting a box spring for the bottom or a thicker mattress if you do one I added a canopy on my bed and the fairy lights behind them its cute

    A cute bed thats easy to assemble and a great value!

    I was intimidated at first because it came in two boxes but after unwrapping everything reading the instructions first, I got to it. Assembly was super easy and I even did it all myself! Its very sturdy and was easy to decorate! I bought canopy curtains on and now Ive had the bed Ive always wanted. If youre looking for a cute canopy bed, then stop scrolling and buy this one! You wont regret it.
