We were not huge fans of this bed frame. First, it was shipped via USPS. Since it weighs nearly 70 lbs, our postman left us a note saying it was too heavy to deliver and that it had to be picked up at the post office. It does take two people to lift (as indicated on the box), so why would you have the post office attempt to deliver it? Thats inconvenient for the buyer as we then had to go to the post office and track it down. The frame itself was a bit rusty, dented, and paint was chipped. Just didnt look very nice, so we ended up returning it, which was also an inconvenient process. I would look elsewhere!
I would never buy this bed frame. First, I noticed scratch marks all over the bed frame. Next, the connection pieces were bent in multiple spots causing it to not be able to connect. In addition the screws were rusted and there was a dark powder coming off of the bed frame getting my carpet dirty.
The bed frame was packaged well to protect it from damage in shipment, the written/visual instructions were clear (often not the case), the frame pieces fit together easily and they supplied extra parts.
It is sturdy and looks great!
Very easy to put together, sturdy. A few things I dont like, in fact, hate about it. One, the four corner mattress retainers are useless, the mattress goes right on over them and slides all over, the support bars are steel so of course the mattress eill slide unlike wood slats. The retainers need to be taller to actually keep the mattress in place. The thing I hate most is the two support legs half way down each side. Constantly hit my feet on them, horrible. Everyone knows four corner posts exist on beds but the side supports should be further under the bed, add an extra center support to make this happen similar to the one at the bottom of the bed. All other platform beds Ive had all had the side supports inserted further in so you dont hit your feet.
This is truly easy to assemble. I am a woman in my sixties and I do not put things together generally. My husband does that. This time I wanted to try.
I put aside Saturday and Sunday, even though many reviewers said it just took a few hours.
I unpacked everything and another reviewer was right. It took more time to unpack and inventory than anything else! I followed the picture directions carefully and had no problems at all.
They supply you with a few extra screws and nuts and bolts and things which is very nice. I did not need them but kept them just in case.
I assembled this in about an hour and a half. The only thing I asked my husband to do was to test the torque and tightness of the screws before putting in the slats (the very last step). I had not wanted to over tighten anything as I was putting it together. He checked and tightened some of them.
I then asked him to help me put the slats in as it was just easier to do with a person on each side. So he spent about 5 minutes helping.
Truly easy and very cute. Looks great - we have it in a guest room.

Is this suppose to come with a manual screws? None here
No manual or screws / bolts nuts included. Are they missing or is this how its suppose to be assembled?

This bed is as good as those of brands that change you north of $1,000 for a very similar drama. Great value.
