Assembled the bed frame last night after work and I was pleased and supervised and the quality of the bed frame. The only issue I had was I used the wrong screws for step 1, so I had to change those out and used the shorter ones. I put the frame together by myself, which was not a problem. Very high quality and was happy that I spent a little more money to get the version with the wood slates. Once I was finished, put back our Cal. King mattress and went to bed. Rock sold even with 250 lbs of dogs on board, plus my wife and I. 14 inch height translated into having 12 inches of free space to store boxes below the mattress.
I ordered the king size, 14 inch tall platform. It was very simple to set up, took about 20 minutes with 2 of us. It is very sturdy. We are using it with a memory foam mattress and are really happy with it.
The assembly instructions are more of a guide, than detailed instructions. You have to reason out how some of the parts go together. Instructions state there is a nut to go on the screws attaching the long pieces of the frame to the shorter end pieces, but the long pieces only have threaded screw holes, with no way to enter behind the screw to place a nut. I was somewhat concerned how this would affect the integrity of the frame. Then I realized these particular screws dont serve much of a weight bearing function, as the way one leg fits into the other, the legs are bearing most of the weight with the screws serving to keep them more secure.
I assembled the frame by myself, but the legs are heavy and awkward to work with. Two people would be better.
Excellent product, easy to assemble. We used this with the Casper mattress since the slats are closer together than most of the other platform beds. Works great! Thanks!
Was weary bc price was so good. Thought I cheaped out and would regret it but its fantastic. Would and probably will buy another for other bedroom (if and when I need it)

We love this bed. But it was difficult for us to assemble. There were no printed directions and pictures did not help. All the parts were included.

Squeaky but sturdy.
Its heavy and very sturdy but after a few weeks it got very squeaky. Im still looking for a way to possibly fix that issue. Other than that its great.
