This bunk is aming! It is so sturdy, it has a metal beam running under the Bunkie boards for extra support! It does not shake when my kids are on it or when I lay down with my kids! I highly recommend this bunkbed
I really like this bed for my 6 year old boy. Its seems to be pretty good quality, and sturdy. I guess time will tell. It arrived in great condition. The only thing I didnt like was that there doesnt seem to be enough slats. The Simmons memory foam mattress that I bought to go with it states that there should be less room between the slats in order to properly support the mattress. Im debating on whether I need to buy a bunkie board to put under the mattress, which will be an extra expense.
I bought two sets of these bunks. The first set took about 5 hours to put together with the headboard and foot board being the most difficult to assemble. The second set was a breeze once we figured out to lean the headboard up against the wall to keep it steady and to install the slats.
This is the second and bed we have purchased for our family. The quality is wonderful for an affordable price. I wish I had seen the queen size sooner. I would have purchased one for myself as well! Definitely cant go wrong with these beds. Easy assembly and fast shipping. Great buy all around.
The review that says the guardrail snapped off appears to have not assemble the bed correctly. The broken piece she shows in her picture looks like it was installed backwards. When properly assembled, those screws get drilled into the inside of the bed and are covered by the mattress. My guess is the entire guardrail was put on wrong, which understandably would lead to it breaking off. Just dont want people to be deterred from buying this item because of somebodys mistake.

i give easy to assemble a 2 because it really wasnt easy and u had to look at the diagram really well in order not to mess up all the pieces.
