These steamed bent plywood chairs, in the style of Eames, go very well with my mid-century Danish teak table. The first chair I opened and assembled did, indeed, pose the problem of fitting the 5/8 washers supplied into the slightly smaller inset holes. I solved this by using a true 5/8 wood bit to enlarge the inset holes. The second chair went together perfectly because it came with 9/16 washers. I will be ordering a second chairs and will hope for the best with respect to the washers.
