Bed was fairly easy to assemble, though, having two people was helpful. It looks great, and our daughter loves her new blue bed. My one complaint is that every time I go to make the bed, I stub my toe (hard!) on the middle support bar.
Bed is exactly as pictured. It arrived in beat up boxes, but there was not a single blemish on the bed. It feels very sturdy, and a great value. The instructions were just some pictures, but fairly easy to follow. They shorted me a few tiny washers and gave me extras of the larger washers/no big deal. Overall, Im extremely happy with this purchase!
