Strong bed, easy to assemble - using it UNDER a loft bed my 2 year old is not yet ready for. 4 stars because the wheel locking mechanism doesnt work well and the package was delivered 2 days later than promised - something that has been happening much more frequently by , unfortunately. But the product, overall - not bad!
Got this bed for my son, who wanted to downsize from a queen bed, so he could have room for a desk and other stuff in his room. He is an almost 6-ft. tall, 260 lb. boy, very big kid, and he fits in the bed, but if he grows two more inches, he probably wont, lol! It is very sturdy, not squeeky and wobbly like many metal beds are. Not sure on the trundle yet, as it hasnt been tried out, but everything seems to be of good, solid quality. The 16-year old put it together himself, so not too complicated, although he is good at that type of thing. So far, pretty satisfied overall with this bed.

This is a great value for the money. I switched out my sofa for a day bed for when guests come over. Its sturdy and I put it together by myself in less than an hour. If I had another person probably would cut time in half!!! I got the 8 gel mattress but it will probably expand up a bit more as I just unpacked it. I use the bottom trundle for storage.
Thank you for an easy to assemble and, so far, sturdy guest bed. I had to unbox where delivered - not too heavy but too unwieldy for one. Assembled by myself and used only the tools provided. I did add risers so full size is 6 inches higher and its easier to pull the trundle out and can leave the trundle made up.
Just received this daybed and trundle through prime. It took my husband and I about an hour to assemble. All parts were clearly marked and it was a snap to put together. We were very impressed with how sturdy it is and such a nice addition to the room. We also purchased 2 mattresses to complete. Great quality for an affordable price
Bought this as an occasional use spare bed and it has worked out fine so far. My son, who is average mechanically inclined, put the daybed and trundle together by himself in less than two hours. Its very attractive and sturdy, and the trundle slides out smoothly. I use two standard size twin mattresses with it. I shopped around and settled on this slightly more expensive model, based on others reviews.
Some of the critical reviews almost scared me away from this purchase, but Im so glad we decided to go ahead and order it! The package withstood some rough handling by the shipper and everything came through VERY WELL even though the box was damaged. All parts were organized and well-wrapped and not a single piece was missing or scratched or damaged. The bed went together very precisely and is very sturdy and all ready for the mattress which will arrive soon. And it looks just beautiful in the guest suite we are preparing! I am very impressed to get this kind of quality as such a reasonable price!! Thank you!!
