Got this trundle bed for my kids. They love it and so do I! Their bedroom is fairly small so this was the easiest way to fit 2 beds into there room, by just sliding the other underneath when not in use.
The bed arrived on time. Hubby put it together in a couple hours with a small bit of help from me. Package arrived with no dings on the box. All parts were there. All parts were flawless. Its solid and very pretty. Its in my large bonus/sewing room to be used for occasional guests. We put an 8 mattress on the top, leaving the trundle without a mattress for the time being which is great for storing large flat items (quilting rulers, etc.) and a spare set of sheets.
Most of the time, you get what you pay for and this is priced low. However, it fit the bill and surpassed our expectations. This bed is being used in our home as a guest bed, so I cannot comment on long-time durability but it feels extremely solid. Since its a platform bed, no box spring is needed (saves more money!) The finish of the bronze is matte and wont show scratches/knicks easily. Its exactly as pictured, was relatively easy to assemble in about 30 minutes (if you just read and follow the directions.) We couldnt be happier with the product!
