My husband and I assembled this bed in about 2 hours; from unboxing to laying on top of our mattress. All of the tools needed are included. After reading other reviews I added Teflon tape to all of the screws. This will keep them from backing out or squeaking. The instructions were clear and essay to follow. The bed provides excellent support for our mattress. We collectively weigh about 450lbs.
The bed is a perfect and was a great price. Exactly what I needed. Only one downside, the two width sides would be better a 4 inches higher to place pillows against. The trundle is used as a storage instead of an extra mattress, works out great.
So this is a funny story. I bought this bed for my son to sleep on when he is home visiting from college. So him and his girlfriend that I absolutely love they have know each other since 6th grade (just like me and hubby) come to visit for Christmas and says hey the trundle doesnt pop up so we can sleep together. Score for mom!!!! The bed is very comfy and very sturdy because my baby is a big boy

Lots of extra parts which is nice, great bed once you have it assembled.
We installed the top half first an waited to install the foot railing till the end made things easier than the instructions.

I was able to put this together myself with no trouble, its sturdy and quiet - had it about 3 months now. No complaints!
Not sturdy at all!
Its cute and for a small space but it broke with my 11 year old no jumping on it and I had to throw it out so only lasted 3 months.
Havent slept in it yet so until next time.
My grandkids put my bed together within 2 hrs, Im so proud of them ., the bed feel great, and looks fantastic.
