    Not STURDY!

cheap material! my DH is afraid to install all the parts cause the wood cracked so easy . Not happy on this purchase Update: I able to get a hold of the company and she was prompt to send me the parts.

    Would buy again

This is very nice for more storage in the kitchen my complaints are its a little wobbly and the clear coat on the counter is rubbing off already and only had it about 2months

Perfect! Real wood can be sanded and re/stained!

I love this island Perfect size in addition to our kitchen that had a big open space in the middle. Have yet to get chairs for the back breakfast bar but love the extra space and prep space! The countertop is wood so I was able to sand it down and re/stain it the same stain as my countertops! Tons of power sanding and then staining, polyurethane, and then sanding again (x5) but it looks gorgeous! Super happy!

    Quality item

Two adults, with children under foot, it took us 2 hours to assemble. Good quality, great instructions, all pieces well marked, even had extra screws included. Lots of packaging, so have a trash bin or bag nearby. Highly recommend and would purchase again.

Lots of Storage, easy assembly, solid, good price

Overall really happy with this product Good Points / Solid / Easy assembly even though it is complicated. The directions are really good. / easy to clean the top counter / doors and drawers all fit well and close correctly, not always the case with these products/ Bad points / The biggest gripe is that the flip/up counter that I use to eat on isnt the sturdiest. I will need to strengthen it with another support somehow. Im having a hard time finding one right now. Its fine for eating on, I wouldnt set a small child on the flip/up part or lean too hard on it. Its lasted about 5 months with no issues. I lean my elbows on it and it is fine. The support has loosed up a bit during this time.

Damaged top, which is rubber wood, whatever that is, doesnt look like it will hold up well.

The last piece you install when putting it together is the top. When I set it on, I immediately noticed a quarter sized dent in the top, with white/gray smudges and small cracks running around and through the dent. When I looked at it even closer (see attached picture), I then realized it isnt solid wood, it appears to have a wood looking artificial surface. I knew some parts were engineered wood (like the back slats), but I thought the top would be solid and hardy. Disappointed, but I dont want to disassemble to return. We got this as a gift for my son and daughter/in/law, but I expect we will want to wheel this out of the way and get them something better if it doesnt hold up well. With that said, assembly was fairly easy for two people, the only thing that seemed a little tough during assembly was closing the locks, they are like switches that you flip, but they were all hard to flip and some couldnt be closed using our fingers. I especially like the individual packets of hardware with labeling, so didnt have to guess which screws were what. They also included one extra of all the screws, which I appreciated and proved to be helpful. I dropped one of the smaller screws and couldnt find it, so was able to complete the build using the spare. Once done, I got me son to search the floor and he found the one I had dropped (young eyes).
