Our tiny kitchen is finally more functional! We have a 1200 aq ft townhouse and as I just go accepted to study medicine I realized wed be here for the long haul. We cook a lot though and weve ways hated out tiny kitchen! To make the next few years more bearable I went on the hunt for an affordable kitchen island and found this! Id give it 4.5/5 stars. I think its pretty good for the price. It does still move a bit when the wheels are locked and the side that opens to expand I feel isnt super sturdy so I wouldnt chop on that side or put anything really heavy. The drawers and cabinets close really good and its the perfect bar height to use a bar stool while you meal prep or just sit to eat your breakfast. My husband was able to put it together himself Im a few hours and it came intact without damage. Altogether a great solution for kitchens with limited counter space!
When I took all the parts out of the very large and well padded storage box I was pleasantly surprised to find they were all labeled and easily identified on the accompanying instructions. It took about two hours to assemble the cart on my own and there were times when a helper could have been handy (especially when placing the top on the mostly finished cart).
The end result of assembling the prodigious number of individual parts is a very sturdy and versatile cart. The three drawers on the right hand side are very deep, which I really appreciate. There is plenty of space in the cabinet area as well. We turned ours into a rolling pantry and couldnt be happier with the fit and finish given the price paid.
Highly recommended!
The island is very easy to put together but did take two of us. My kitchen looks like the one in the photo and they go together and I love the way I can move it as I see fit. Perfect.
The color is much prettier in person. The steps were easy to follow and well explained. I assembled all the drawers with the bottoms backwards though so make sure the wheels face the back of the drawer lol. Besides that nothing was heavy during assembly despite the fact this piece is actually very heavy and sturdy once its all put together. Will work great as our kitchen island/breakfast nook.
It looks great and easy to assemble. Im a tiny petite woman and I did it all by myself. Its sturdy and looks great! It has plenty of space to put dishes and kitchen ware 10/10

Always use glue.
You might want to put a small bottle of white glue in with this assembly package. Just a thought
