After one week we noticed what looked like a water stain, even though nothing wet or damp was placed on it. It was the same shape as the fabric place mat that we used, which was completely dry. It wont come off.
Better than I expected! Arrived without any damage, had clear instructions, is very sturdy, and took 3 hours to assemble (We are novices so took out time to avoid mistakes.)

Easy to assemble, didnt hold all my fine China and glassware but still a nice addition. Sturdy shelf below a the top is great for decorating.
