They packaged each piece carefully to avoid damages. We only found one minor chipped spot and everything looked just fine. The instruction was easy to follow. My wife and I put it today within 2 hours. It has tons of storage and makes our entryway look so much more organized and it let in more light from our front door than our old shoe storage unit!
Overall, the quality for the price is good. I did not like the assembly process, as none of the hundreds of pieces were labeled and you had to guess which part is which based on the number of nail holes it had in it. It was a very lengthy set up. One of the pieces came cracked as well.
Its okay quality but for the money/value its definitely 5 stars. We had been looking for something like this for some time and were pondering spending upwards of 1000+. Im so glad we settled on this one and saves the money. I think its noteworthy that its in our garage and not the house; Id probably have wanted something more elaborate/higher end if it was going in the house. For what we are using it for Id highly recommend.
