Kids love the design, it's a fun bed.

Lots of parts, but easy to follow instructions and each part is numbered. Use an electric drill if you have the right bits and it will go a lot quicker. I love the design and quality, it's just a fun bed and the kids love it. Bottom bed can face any direction giving you more flexibility. As the kids outgrow it, I am thinking of removing the bottom bed and making it a play structure area to get more usage out of it. You can also have fun with it by hanging string lights on each level or glow in the dark stars, etc... since each section has an over the head area.

    Fun for the kids!

This was fairly easy to put together - pieces fit well and instructions were good. Definitely use a powered drill, though, and not do it by hand (it would take ages!) My only complaint about the design is that the slats holding up the twin bunk seem not that sturdy and we're afraid to have more than one kid on it at a time - no horseplay on the bunk. But it is loved!

    strong smell!

The bed is really cool but the smell is very bad - not sure how many volatile organic compounds it is putting out but if you care about that kind of thing - this is not the bed for you.

    Absolutely awesome

This pine bunk bed was super easy to assemble and is just super rad! Heres a pic of it without the full frame and extra wall underneath. Seems sturdy!... color is mostly a greige with a cooler and darker roof. Thinking of adding curtains in the windows!

    Kids love it, parent approved!

The instructions were very easy to follow. All the holes lined up and it came with plenty of hardware! Can easily be done in 1.5-2 hours with two people. Much faster if you use power tools. It's very sturdy when assembled, the kids have had it for a couple months now and it's just as solid as the day we made it.

    Quality materials

I'm always a stickler for reading instructions, and this is no exception. If you follow the step by step instructions, it goes together with no problem. The one item I deviated on is that I recommend using a variable drive power drill for the bolts. Instructions say not to, but if you are careful it shouldn't be a problem and avoids some blisters and sore hands, while speeding things up significantly. FYI, the matresses are not included. Also, I didn't use a bunkie board since I had a spring mattress and its fine.

    Fun fort kids bed.

Great bed. My kids 10 6 love it. Took a little while to put together. But sturdy and easy to follow instructions.

    Definitely would suggest buying.

Pieces were a little spread out between 4 boxes, but all in all was easy, sturdy and looks amazing. Definitely would recommend buying this. My boys absolutely love it.
