So far, very happy with this purchase. Was looking for an expandable, black kitchen table. This one is quite substantial and seems very well made. The leaf is pretty easy to use and is conveniently tucked under the table itself, so no additional storage necessary.
There are some dents on the edges, that are intended to be there, I presume to make it more farmhouse style. I could really have done without them, and didnt notice them in the photos, but they dont take away from the table substantially, for me.
Overall a nice dining table that I hope can withstand our daily use.
Happy with how the table turned out, but two issues I would like to point out -
a) Shipping - the product page implies this is shipped in one package (even customer service rep told me it's one package on the phone), but it is sent in two and like many other reviewers, I received mine in two packages at different times of the day.
b) Assembly - The assembly instructions are simple to understand, but reaching inside the base to tighten the bolts is tricky and time consuming with the wrench provided
We ordered the wrong finish on the first table. So we ordered the oak finish we wanted. I boxed the table we didn't want and sent it back in the boxes of the new oak finished table. The new table pedestal leg broke only after a couple of days. We ordered a replacement, and when it arrived we boxed the broken leg and the pedestal, and table in the same boxes the replacement came in and sent it back. Both times we returned the table and pedestal, only one code was given. Since we needed two codes for two boxes each time (one for the table and one for the pedestal), it was a problem that finally got solved by . We love the table and it was worth the problems!

Exactly what I needed for a small space. Bigger than I expected. Very pretty and sturdy. Easy to assemble.
