Okay so I gave it 4 stars because when assembling some of the holes were not made big enough for the screws and some were not aligned correctly. Other than that it was easy and took about 2-3 hours to build
Pros:
Sturdy, attractive and safe. Im impressed with the slats and locking mechanism between each slat for additional strength and sturdiness.
Con:
As shown in pictures and like a few other reviews, one of the mesh side rails came damaged out of the box. Its disappointing but doesnt impede the safetiness. As such, four stars.
This bed with Trundle was easy to assemble. My husband had to make adjustments to the Trundle part you pull on to get the bed out. Sharpe corners on both ends had to be cut and sanded down. This would have been a big safety issue with our 2 year old. He also added a gate to the stairs and extra rails to the inside(because she still figured out a way to get up there with the gate) but that was just our choice to keep youngest off the top bunk. Overall dont regret purchase.

Bed isnt very sturdy.
It rocks back and forth Everytime my 35 pound toddler climbs up the ladder or moves in the bed.
