It does feel like the plastic bushing at the bottom of the female end of the chair post could be a little tighter, there is a bit of play but its held up well so far
We bought these for our daughter for Christmas. She picked them out. They adjust up and down well, so are bar or counter height. They are comfortable and swivel, which is nice. For the price, they are a good value.

Not sturdy/ the base is to small and tips over extremely easy. Also, the material is not that durable.
