This will be somewhat long-winded. This is the chaise lounge I chose after spending weeks researching futons and trying to find something that would be big enough for at least 2 people to sleep on when they visited, and comfortable enough to game on when not being used as a bed. This is what my research led me to and after looking at reviews and customer images, I decided to go with the grey linen chaise lounges. They arrived and 1 box was totally ripped apart, through the lounge material and into the wood supports. I opened the other one (which was undamaged) and assembled it and... Immediately hated it. The linen is quite literally a linen material, like cheap, scratchy burlap sack. Its a lighter grey color in person, it just looked so cheap and tacky and felt even worse. The foam padding was crinkly and felt like the styrofoam they use in shipping boxes. The adjustable headrest was so loud every time you adjust it, like loose metal pieces were clanking around. I was incredibly disappointed and chose to return both of them. I had no other options though. So we decided to take a gamble on the faux leather chaise lounges because we both have faux leather gaming chairs and it seems that no matter how cheap the leather is, it still feels quite nice. So, we ordered the leather lounges. They arrived today, I assembled the first one, and the difference in quality is honestly shocking. The faux leather, for being fake leather on a $174 chaise lounge, is actually pretty nice. Soft, smooth, no squeaky noises. And I think it muffles the foam because theres no crinkly noises anymore when we sit down, or maybe it was just the linen material. Theres other things that the leather cant fix, like the thin foam padding and the noisy headrest, but Ive been laying on it with a pillow for over an hour now and it feels fine. We also bought a 2 inch gel mattress pad that makes even the floor feel comfy so sleeping on it isnt an issue. I wish we would have ordered the faux leather first. I DO NOT recommend the grey linen, avoid it at all costs. Otherwise, all in all, for under $200 its not bad. Looks sleek, moderately comfortable, and affordable.
Assembly is super easy. Its a little uncomfortable. I would suggest adding some padding to it. The frame digs into you sometimes. Other than that I love it!
It looks really sleek and modern and gives my office a nice little pop. I often lounge on it to take calls or video conferences. But there is no way I could sleep on it. My cat likes it though. She sleeps there all day!
The backing seat have about a 1.5 inch foam pad encased in an elevated wooden frame to give it its shape. These are not comfortable at all to sleep on, out of the box.
I modified the frame holding the foam pads (lowered it), added a thicker pad and put them in my 5th wheel. They fit in excellent and saved me $100s rather than purchase jackknife sofas.
Overall, Im pleased with their appearance, but be warned that you will need to modify these for any level of comfort above that of a rock.

Easy to assemble. It looks very nice.
AVOID GREY LINEN, faux leather is much better!

Appearance and function
Very attractive and functional.

Good for my small office
It looks really sleek and modern and gives my office a nice little pop. I often lounge on it to take calls or video conferences. But there is no way I could sleep on it. My cat likes it though. She sleeps there all day!
Lack of cushioning between sides
Lack of cushioning between the two sides of the chair, so it will eventually sink in. This is the second one Ive bought and its the same as the first.
Hard as a brick
