Packaging was top notch. Not a single dent and so well protected. Looks perfect. I tried finding something like this locally at staples. Went to 3 local staples stores all of which said they had something similar in stock. Only to go there and then have nothing but the floor model which they wouldnt sell me. So sorry staples get your act together. Bought this and love it. Much better quality and what I wanted for color anyhow.

The file cabinet came assembled, with the exception of the wheels, and the dividers that go inside the cabinet. Overall, the cabinet is well made relative to the cost. I did not buy the cabinet for filing documents, but rather to store tools and other items. So far, it is holding up.
I had purchased an L/shaped desk but it id not come with drawers. Many cabinets I checked were either too tall or just had 2 drawers. This has a file folder size drawer and two small drawers. Very sturdy, drawers slide easily. Other than put screw on the wheels, no assembly required.
The unit was easy to assemble, except for the two shorter cross bars. They were very difficult to get in place I finally gave up trying. The longer bar was much easier to install and worked well. The unit is heavy, but very maneuverable on the wheels easy to move around. Fits nicely under the desk.
This file cabinet is made of sturdy steel and it fits nicely under my desk. The drawers are smooth and assembly is easy. All you need to do is attach the wheels.

Directions need some clarity, but the unit is sturdy, maneuverable, and secure.
