    Not the greatest option

Some of the bolts were very difficult to screw in. They have to screw into very specific pre drilled holes. If its out of place, it will crack the wood. The support beams dont line up with the blocks, so the nails drill into nothing. I had to drill them at an angle to get them into the wood anchors. I dont understand why they didnt make the wood anchors the entire width of the frame beam.

    Love the bed

I love the bed but all the bolts are really cheap the heads striped out an there wasnt one straight long bolt in the bag

    Very good bed! Very impressed!

Ive bought and assembled a lot of flat pack furniture in my lifetime. Most of it has not been sturdy or used decent quality material as I would have hoped. This bed has been a very good purchase and we are very happy with all aspects. The bed parts are well made and the fit and finish are above average. The instructions were easy to follow. Once assembled the bed is very sturdy. Our only complaint was the short screws that attached the desk rails to the underside of the bed frame. They were way too short so there was barely 1/8 of screw engagement. The weight of the desk pulled the screws out. I got some T/nuts and longer bolts. Now the desk rails are fully supported against both gravity and downward pressure on the desk. If we ever needed another loft bed this would be the only one we would buy!

    Hire somebody to assemble

I got this bed because the local furniture stores dont have anything available until spring maybe. First, my daughter is maybe 90 pounds soaking wet so we werent super worried about it holding her weight. This bed seems like it could probably hold her and a few of her friends no problem. Im actually pretty satisfied with how sturdy it is and how it looks. Theres some cosmetic flaws, but for the price, I cant complain. What I can complain about is how impossible it was to put together and how useless the instructions were. I cannot emphasize that enough. You better either have a really great marriage or hire a couple people to put it together and save yourself the bickering and blisters. It took two people, both fairly mechanically inclined and one holds a doctorate, six hours to put this together. Ive done my share of furniture assembly and this was by far the worst. In some pieces there werent even guide holes for the screws so you literally just had to muscle a screw into the wood. The instructions showed holes in pieces where there wasnt holes or vice versa. So trying to figure out which of the four posts was supposed to be facing which way was essentially trial and error. And if you chose wrong, it put you back to the beginning. It was completely frustrating. Fortunately this looks like itll last for a good while so we dont have to go through assembly again

A quality bet thats easy to assemble

We ordered this bed for one of our kids. As far as assemble/it/yourself/beds, it was actually pretty straightforward as the instructions were clear and all the pieces were in the box. Naturally, it went quicker because we used a power screwdriver and not the little hex/key included. Having three people to help with the final assembly stage is highly recommended. The final bed with desk looks great and is stable. Not unexpected but important to keep in mind is the the ladder stick out about one foot away from the bed.

    Stable looks good

I purchased this bed after trying out a full loft bed, which was a shaky/noisy disaster. This one is quite sturdy. I made sure not to tighten the bolts until after the entire thing was assembled, and then went around the entire bed a few times to tighten with the hand allen wrench. I did use an impact driver on the lowest setting for everything except the final tightening, as to avoid stripping out the wood screws where used. Unlike some other reviewers I got the instructions in the box, and had zero damaged pieces or misaligned holes. There are a couple of reviews that mention the bed not accommodating a mattress // I measured 76/1/2 of space, which leaves a little bit of extra room on top of a standard 75 mattress. I dont see how a XL would fit.

    Perfect Loft Bed with Desk

We looked forever to find a quality reasonably priced loft bed for my daughter. Shipping was super fast and all parts were packed perfectly/ no dings or missing parts. The box was extremely heavy and I thought I was in for it, but I only needed help from a second person a few times. I ended up using my drill with an allen wrench attachment (being careful to take it slow as to not crack the wood), which made things move along much more quickly. Both my daughters love this setup and I wouldnt be surprised if were ordering another one soon! Its an awesome bed and desk. Would give it 6 stars if I could!!
