    Space Saver!

My son ended up with the smallest bedroom in the house (youngest child and all), so as hes getting older, were always looking for ways to save space. The most obvious and wonderful advantage to the bed/desk combo is having 2 essential pieces of furniture occupying the same footprint. Oh, and it looks cool as well! pieces are invariably stylish! My one gripe has got to be the ladder. The narrow rungs hurt my feet when I try to use it. My son doesnt seem to mind, but he only weighs 45 poundsthats much less pressure on his feet! And since Im not going to be climbing it much, its certainly not worth losing a star. As others have indicated, assembly isnt bad at all, but is much easier with 2 pairs of hands. My son is really happy with his cool new bed! Post script: Weve had this bed in now for a while and continue to be happy! My son has set up the shelves with some of his treasures, and sometimes likes to hang a blanket to make a fort. I am planning on adding some lights (and I have something perfect in mind) for under the bed since it is dark. It did take him a little while to get the hang of climbing up and down (hes only 6), and he still is afraid to have the ceiling fan on while hes up there. I did notice in better light that there was a dent in one of the posts, but I wont fault the brand for that! The biggest adjustment after having all the extra floor space? Making that bed! Holy moly, thats a pain, but not unexpected. Were happy and our little boy is as well.

    Great for a college kid

I am an 18 year old girl, Im 56 and I weigh 130 pounds. When buying this I didnt see many reviews from adults who were sleeping on this bed. I assembled it with my cousin and finished it by myself, it was very easy to assemble (in fact it was fun) and for the most part it is very sturdy too. I check the screws once every couple of days to make sure they arent coming loose, and Ive only had to ever tighten one so far. I am very pleased with this and it gives me a lot of extra space.

    Fantastic Space Saving Office Bed

This review is for the twim with the desk underneath. Ill start with the negative since there are only a couple. Warnings: Youll need help moving the box inside especially if you have a flight of stairs. Its heavy. A variable speed drill will save you a lot off time. It can be constructed by one person except for one small section. Check all the parts BEFORE starting to build. Mine was fine. PROS: Overall sturdy. All parts are machined. Looks to be powder/coated. Saves a ton of floor space (hence why I picked this up). Plenty of desk space and the small corner shelves are nice for personal touches. Build was easy and the instructions were clear. Built/in ladder is nice and saves space. Doesnt creek like pinewood s. My kid likes this bed a lot. As he gets taller hell have to remember to duck going under to use the desk. Highly recommended

    Sturdy and space saver!

Very easy to or together with sturdy pieces! The shelves allow of a great utilization of space as well as the little office desk that can hold a laptop and small office supplies. Got perfect with my mattress.

    As expected

Sturdy, easy to assemble, minimal squeaking/shaking. Youll need two people to assemble. We had the kids help with little tasks and it went even faster.

    Squeeky

This bed squeeks terribly with every motion, no matter how tight the bolts.
