There is a lot of protection for the legs, however they all came damaged probably due to the way its packed. Honestly, its a great deal for all four of the chairs so Im not too upset. Definitely better than buying 2 chairs from ikea at the same price of 4. Very comfortable as well.
My roommates and I bought these since were working from home during quarantine (Week 5, here we go)! Theyre fantastic for the price but the bolts sometimes just fall out completely at random times at least once a week or so.
I saw a hack in another review that Im going to try (see below). Either way, I love them and Im glad I bought them.
Will update once bolts are bought and chairs are upgraded.

Instead of using the bolts that come with the chair, drop by Home Depot and grab 16 M6/1.00x16MM bolts along with 16 M6 lock washers. Put the lock washer on first, then the stock wide washer, etc. Youll thank yourself later and youll have ended up with 4 great chairs at less than 100.

All four came in one box and the chairs themselves are pretty lightweight. I put them together myself in 15 minutes (keep the stubs on, I took them off and realized they were supposed to stay on to line up the legs properly). Love them and the minimalist style to them.
Lovely chairs, but my kids continuously fall out of them because the chairs are too lightweight. They topple over really easily with the weight of a kid on one side (which is how small kids climb into chairs). I really wanted to love them / love the look, ease of putting together, functionality / ease of cleaning, but we have to put them in a back room and not use them because my almost 4 year old bloodied his face from the umpteenth fall.
I dont regret buying these or a second. Super cute and easy to put together. We dont use them every day (they are at a table we only use occasionally) so I dont know how long theyd last, but they do feel sturdy and comfortable. Im guessing theyre not a lifetime product, but theyd last a few years for sure. Great value for the money! Id recommend them.

Not great for young kids / toddlers
Lovely chairs, but my kids continuously fall out of them because the chairs are too lightweight.
