Needs to be long enough so you wont fall or it wont come undone

The couch does not stretch all the way across to get the bolts down to connect to the side of the couch

    Okay for the price.

Not bad for the price, back does not fit in place however.

Cheap transition sofa but not a good long/term sofa

I needed a cheap sofa until I have a place of my own, and 250 is a decent price. Its adequate for what it does but I doubt it is going to be something that lasts for decades. I agree with most of what the other reviewers think about the sofa. I lucked out and the one giant box arrived intact and there were no broken parts to the sofa. The only issue with assembly is sliding the corners of the back. seat cushions and back cushions are NOT removable; they are sewn into the base of the sofa and the back of the sofa seat cushions are made from very stiff foam so when you sit it feels like you are sitting almost like Styrofoam but a little softer. I think this is why people think the back is too short, its probably in line with modern sofa height, but because you do not sink into the sofa the back just feels shorter. lots of off/gassing, so it will take some time before all the odor is gone sliding the sides onto the base of the sofa is difficult; if the front clip doesnt slide in easily because they do not reach, try bending with pliers; the metal is pliable so do it slowly and not too much otherwise the sides will not stay secured

    Adequate for what its purpose

Ok, so this is not a premium product, but it is functional and inexpensive. It goes together easily, yet I wish it was more tight because theres too much play in the joints. Perhaps another brace with legs in the middle would strengthen the build significantly. Definitely dont plop on it too hard. I needed a low back to put it at the end of my bed so the family can watch tv together in our room.

Great couch for a great price!

I love this couch! I noticed some of the previous reviews mentioned it was a lot smaller than they expected, but my 6 2 husband is currently passed out snoring on it right now / his feet are on the arm rest but hes laying flat on his back and his knees are not bent at all. The couch was SO EASY to assemble. Its pretty firm and not quite as deep as Id like but I think after some use itll become more comfortable so thats not a big deal. It looks great in our new house and I cant wait for the love seat to get here!
