I have been searching for a tv stand for a while now. This met all of the criteria: fits a 42 flat screen, black, contemporary, not too bulky, and doors with glass (so the remotes will work on the cablebox and the blu-ray while keeping dust out). Of course I am always worried about purchasing furniture online but I just couldnt find anything anywhere, including IKEA, Target, on-line. My husband put this together in about an hour and he said the instructions are very thorough and IKEA-like (easy to follow). The quality gets an A especially for this price. Thanks for another great purchase !
The console looks like real wood and the color matches my rosewood colored stain in my home. It had a long chip in the back of one of the pieces. Too much effort to send back and since its not noticeable from the front, I decided not to return it.
This is a great TV stand. I put it together myself it took 2 hours. The box was very heavy and the cardboard box was broke open on the end when it arrived. There was no damage to my the stand. It is very beautiful, it is a little darker in person than the picture. It matches my family room perfectly and it is very rich looking. It is shallow and I did measure my PS3 and it would fit in but I forgot to include the plug out the back as part of the length so I have to set it in there sideways. Still works great!
I am usually hesitant to buy furnitur online without looking at the product to assess if it will fit in with what I have at home. This is a perfect product for a minimalist like me - to spice up the place with the least budget. Plain, simple, neat and blends in with my espresso kitchen cabinets. I put up a ledge over the TV with a picture and a vase to finish it up.
I had looked around for 4 months and I am really happy that I bought a quality product. It looks better than what I see in the picture.
My wife and I were looking for a contemporary/traditional style piece and this one seemed to fit the bill. It came within two days, love ! It was in good condition and only had a minor blemish on the materials that wasnt visible once assembled. Assembly took me about twenty five minutes. I used a power drill and have assembled many pieces in my lifetime so I would say I am somewhat of an expert. Some of the holes foe the dowel pins were not round and looked oblong. It did not affect the lines or assembly. I would recommend you use a small amount of construction adhesive instead of the elmer-like glue provided. Not only will it hold significantly better it does a good job of filling odd spaces such as the dowel holes on this product. Only use it if you do not plan on ever taking this apart! The handles on this unit are plastic. I will be replacing them with a similar style of brushed stainless from the local hardware store.I will say the doors will require you to adjust a little bit to get them to look perfect. Be careful when tightening the screws because they will strip very easily in the press fiber wood. Overall pleased with the product and the finish looks and cleans up well.
This is a higher quality DIY out of a box furniture piece than I was expecting. Now I see why it keeps selling out so fast. We are VERY happy.

It arrived in a small and tightly packed package. Upon opening the box and removing the pieces, I quickly learned that it was a very heavy unit. Putting it together took some time but the directions were very clear and easy to follow. The final product is absolutely perfect - just what we wanted.
So I needed a quick corner piece and I read a bunch of reviews, settled on this product.
I was really pleasantly surprised!!
First of all, it came the next day (with ) even though the disclaimer said it might take a few days to process.
I was able to put it together with a little help. Probably took a good hour plus but you just follow the picture directions. Try not to drink alcoholic beverages during and youre good!
It looks nice and its sturdy.
All in all - for the price you cant beat it. I was going to buy a $400 piece from Boston Interiors until I had to take phone calls from sales people before they would confirm order. Im glad now because that annoyance got me online to and viola! I now have basically the same thing (as far as my eye can tell) for half the price.

Nice, but had a little damage

Great corner console
What a perfect tv console. We go it for our kids play/media room. Not too big- does not take up too much room. Ample storage in the cabinet.
