It is the quality that I expected. Decent, worth the price that was paid. Also came in a timely manner. the doors are a little off after we put it together, but it is not noticeable.

Solid design... laminate is kinda cheap.

Its very sturdy, and takes a while to assemble. My only complaint is that the wood grain laminate is pretty cheap looking.

For the price, this stand is very nice. It was put together fairly simply (by my handy husband) and there were no missing parts or damages. Functional and attractive addition to my living room.

    Wont last long

This is disposable furniture - do not expect it to last long. The wood is cheap, and the finish scratches easily (good luck building it without scratching a surface). The construction took us 2 hours. It required super glue to hold the top down; even with this, the top of our console is bending upwards (even with the weight of the TV on top) because the holes werent spaced out correctly. Personally, I wouldnt buy this again, but it may be decent based on what youre looking for.

Perfect for the vintage gamer with 6 to 7 consoles. Read on for details.

Ive been watching this TV stand for months, wondering if it would accommodate my geeky needs. I finally bit the bullet and Im so glad I did.. I managed to fit 6 of my 7 retro gaming consoles and their control pads inside the cabinet shelves without any issues at all. A lot of these reviews seem to lean towards the stand being on the small side in terms of shelf space, which worried me a bit, but it totally worked out. I managed to pop in a classic NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, Gamecube, and a Nintendo 64 console with their pads sitting at their sides with enough space for the power and AV cords. My PS2 sits outside on top of the stand next to my oldschool 27 inch Phillips CRT TV (PS2 console on its side but can also sit flat with the 27 next to it.) I hope this information helps any vintage gamer out there whos wondering if this would accommodate their classic consoles. Of course, mind the number of consoles able to fit on each shelf. There is no divider in between the shelves so it makes it a lot easier to arrange your consoles how you see fit. The console itself feels pretty durable. The pillars and both top shelf and bottom shelf are the strongest of all the pieces. Putting it together was fairly easy if youre ok with putting basic furniture together. Only a few pieces to work with, making easy to build in less than 2 hours, even for a beginner. Some parts of the console did have dings though, so be mindful of that. I had to take a sharpie and touch up several spots, some less conspicuous than others. By the way, the gluing part of the build is nothing to sweat. It simply asks you to add a little bit of glue (which is included with this stand) to each small wooden dowel, prior to inserting them. To be honest... I dont think its even necessary as Ive been building IKEA furniture for a week straight and non of their stuff requires me to glue any wooden dowels. I did add a drop of glue only on one end of the dowels just in case I want to take this thing apart (if I needed to return it). And thats that. :-]

    Four Stars

Daughter loved it except for some misplaced glue that shows and cannot remove without causing some cosmetic damage.
