    Snazzy

Snazzy. Pretty easy to assemble. If you’ve made IKEA furniture (tables, dressers, etc.) then this is similar. Instructions were clear. I didn’t end up using much glue, so we’ll see if it falls apart. It seemed like the holes were too big for the pieces instead of fitting snugly to make it sturdier. The color was also darker than it seemed from the image.

Great Aesthetically - Only buy if you keep it in one SPOT!

So, where to begin....? Lets start with the fact that it IS a screw-locking system with wooden pegs, which means most of the design is made with particle-board/wood. That shouldnt be any surprise. HOWEVER, this is one of those TV Cabinets you want to invest into a few extra screws and then power-drill them in to ensure COMPLETE sturdiness. Its perfectly sturdy when its completely still, and I can sit directly on it (as a 220lbs individual) without causing harm to it. However, I would say it wiggles a bit (about 5%-8%) which concerns me when I try to lift it. I move from apartment to apartment frequently, as well as rearrange my living room frequently, it is a major concern of mine for when its time to move it. Again, why I recommend securing it down further. Next problem is the doors. They are not stereotypical, full on steel hinges, but infact, a combination of steel and PLASTIC HINGES. They were perhaps, the HARDEST part of assembling this cabinet. That also means it doesnt feel super secure, and ONE MISTAKE putting the doors together means the doors dont line up perfectly. Being said, you can make a LOT OF mistakes trying to get the doors to line up. Speaking of which, I sometimes have trouble shutting the doors (unless I open both and attempt to shut them at the same time). While the instruction manual was clear, and easy to read, and understand, the overall assembly left few things left to be desired. This is clearly a 3-4 hour project, so have an afternoon invested to assemble this. Luckily, it also came with spare parts, so youre guaranteed to have extras to use if you are missing a few parts. I bought this with the intent to organize my gaming consoles in a nice display, along with rest of my electronics. Also, I had the intent to add a lock through the front of the doors if my nephew came to visit. However... Complaints aside, it looks gorgeous and functions sufficiently well enough for what I need it for. However, if you are a parent buying this for a family, and not a college bachelor like myself, I advise you invest in a more expensive (and more durable) Television Cabinet.
