Nice bunk bed but Not sturdy

Nice bunk bed with a great look but definitely could be more sturdy. This is not a bunk bed that can handle wildly active jumping kids.

    Wrong instruction packet

Pretty easy to put together my only complaint is that they gave me the wrong instruction booklet for it and I had to google the instructions which was a pain to have to stop and zoom on each step.

    Wrong Pieces and hard assembly

This is the 2nd bunk bed we purchased and both had production issues. The 1st was missing a hole for a peg and the bottom planks were way too small. The 2nd came with a wrong post and some faulty screws. The directions are really hard to follow which has caused extra time putting together. Once together its a nice looking set but its a pain to get the right pieces and to assemble.

    Damaged wood

We love this bunck bed; however, when we were assemblying the bed it had a damaged piece. Unfortunately we couldn't hide it because it was on the front of the bed. Overall we are pleased with the product just unhappy that now we have to look at the damage caused- not by us.

    Difficult to assemble!

Anyone who says this takes an hour to assemble cant tell time. Im a carpenter and this took 2-3 hours with the help of my wife. The manufacturer obviously hasnt ever assembled their own product.

    Recommend!

Love these beds for my girls room. They do not come as bright white like they are described. They scratch on the surface very easily so be warned. I will say for the money I'm satisfied but these are definitely not of highest quality. They do look adorable bunked or seperate.

    Good for the price.

Pretty good and solid unless you're on top, then wobbles a little. Love the color, but don't like how the hardware shows. still a good value for the money.

Reasonable price for benefit of bunks

Relatively easy to assemble. Didn't take longer than 3-4 hours... With a toddler forcing breaks upon us! Pay attention to: 1. Top headboard pieces for the full bed so that the peg holes are aligned on the same side so the twin can be placed in on top. We forgot to and had to untighten one side to flip. Not serious but a nuisance. 2. Side frames of the beds where the bed rests on. Make sure the twin has the same slotted ones bc there are pre-drilled holes for a cross panel with small wood pegs to be inserted in the center. Recommend using a power drill then hand tighten screws for the last bit to secure the base planks for mattresses to sit on. Speeds things up significantly. Overall for the price, the lower quality wood material is to be expected. Noticed some cracks in some pieces of wood as mentioned by others. When I was peeling off a sticker label, I indented the wood with my own finger... Overall, it feels sturdy for a toddler. Both parents on separate occasions (200lbs and150lbs) have climbed up to read stories. Probably won't do this all the time tho. We don't anticipate him jumping on top bunk bc his head is close to ceiling when standing and don't recommend it based on the slats. He's 40lbs. Overall height is good, not too tall and daunting for a 4yr old to climb and mom(5'3) can reach top bunk from floor. We purchased a 5 inch twin mattress; it allows for good vertical space for him not to roll off the sides. Our son moves all over when sleeping! We got the white which looks clean and less cluttered in the room. He loves it and it allows for more space in the room especially if family can come visit.
