i spent hours for days looking for the perfect bunk beds for my kids, and with this price i was pretty skeptical even with all the great reviews. however, when it went a sale, we decided to bite the bullet and give it a chance. i am SO GLAD we did! this bunk bed is awesome! im 52 and 115lb and i climb up there every night with my kids to lay with them to sleep without any issues at all! i also make their bed every morning. it is so easy to go up and down the ladders, and its definitely sturdy enough to hold both my children and myself up there all at once. the quality is great, the shipping was faster than expected, and its gorgeous! i highly recommend this purchase! the extra storage underneath the one bunk is such an awesome bonus! we have made it into a fort/hangout area for our kids. highly recommend!
UPDATE: the unit was a little tall for us, so we cut each leg and the one ladder down 5inches. it cut beautifully and is holding up great!
I didnt give it full stars because how it showed up at my door step. Box one was neatly packed. But a few pieces had dings in them. So I considered that to be the manufacturer. It is easily noticeable. My second box look like it went through hell. It was all hanging out and shoved back in. Scratches and dings on a few more pieces. Im sure the U.P.S. had something to do with it but with it being that heavy the manufacturer needs to secure it in a better box. I spent roughly 4 hours putting it together. As far as how the top bunk sets on the bottom bunks seems a little unsecured. Four cheap wooden dowels keep it in place. Dont move the bunk bed by pushing the top. It may snap the dowels. Dont lift up on the top bunk or it will easily come off the bottom bunk. The ladder doesnt set secured as it should. The holes were off. So when the kids climb it the pressure will be on the bolt. Im sure over time the ladder will loosen and possibly screws come out. Ill take a picture of the gap. All edges of the ladder have the gap... As far as everything else goes it seems to be sturdy enough.
Directions are easy to follow but definitely took more than 45 mins to assemble with the help of 3 little ones we got it together.
My boys love the bed ?? so do I! They had a metal bunk before and it was waaay too noisy this one is very sturdy and quiet
I had ordered 2 of these. Putting together the first was not that bad. Went to put the second one together and one of the legs for the top bunk is wrong. Im going to have to track someone down to drill the needed holes on the correct side of the post so I can assemble it. Other than that my husband and I are happy with the one complete one at least.
Love the bed. Its nice and sleek but we wish that the bottom bunk was a bit lower so a child or adult could actually sit up on it. We find our son always having to bend his head sideways or crouching a bit as he sits in it. Hes only 8. Assembling wasnt so difficult. Put the ladder on the wrong way since it wasnt instructed on which way it went.
Okay now! We love it! It sturdy! It has ALL AND EXTRA HARDWARE. All pieces came. The woods ?? a tiny imperfections. Delivery guys were great ! Now what you want to know! I Put this together alone, Id tell you if you could to have an able helper!! It took me six plus hours to do so. It wasnt hard to put together but when your distracted by three kids, Its kinda stressful. So it is very simple to put together once you get the hang of it. It comes in two boxes and they are slim. You could call this a BunkBedSlim; My Kiddos are almost 10 and 8 and they fit well. We love it ! Its exactly what we could have imagined but more as my Girlie said! Theres a one year Warranty as well. They also say they will replace any missing parts for free. I was too scared before ordering because of the comments but Im glad I listened to myself.
I cannot even finish assembling the bed because of where the holes for the screws of the ladder is positioned. This is a glaring error on the product that I hope the seller would fix. I had to drill new holes to mount the ladder myself to complete the installation.
Need two people to put together. Feel it is solid, however they are not as tall as we expected. The lower bunk sits directly on the floor. Still happy with the purchase though.

I highly recommend using a power drill/driver with an Allen wrench bit; Im sure that saved time and our fingers! The bed is gorgeous, it is as sturdy as it looks. Bottom bunk is fairly tight/cozy, but the kids love it. A bit of effort to get it built, but youll be happy with your purchase.
Its an all around great bed. There is no room for box springs but the way the slats go you will not need them. I really like how the bottom is low! Great need for the money!

Incorrect assembly instruction
