Read all the reviews for this and was a bit nervous to buy as some people had problems with it. I had no trouble, nothing was bent and all the holes lined up perfectly. It was easy to put together, the directions were thorough and easy to understand and everything you needed came with it. Its very well made, sturdy and really nice loo. The trundle rolls easily under and has loc wheels if needed. I bought an 8 mattress for the bed and a 6 for the trundle, both memory foam. You cannot feel the metal struts when laying on the mattresses. Im very impressed with and would recommend this daybed. It looks great and functions as it should.
I bought this for my 15 year old son. Its perfect when his best friend sleeps over. Inexpensive and great quality. Also you would want to use a 6in matress for the trundle.
Its cute, a few issues one with sliding the lower bed in and out you normally wont be able to keep the bed made as it is a tight squeeze could have used a few inches in height for the top bed. And I do recommend either using a mattress topper or a baseboard depending on the mattress you have you will feel the slats this is also where the height of the top bed becomes an issue as well since you cant add a topper, still trying to figure out a way to raise the top portion. So many pieces took all three of us to get this bad boy set up haha so definitely get some help and take your time.
