The frames made years ago are better as with anything made years ago. It is an okay frame. Just hate the leg in the middle of the bed frame. Always stub your toe on it.
This bed frame was so easy to assemble. Had left over screws so I know they sent enough. I couldve done it alone, but husband wanted to help. Lots of space underneath for storage. 16 frame so well worth the extra 2 upgrade. Added fabric covered wood slat mattress supports (we inherited) under mattress to give extra support between bars.
