be as snug as I would have liked. Unit very well made. 14 inch height was
very good. Super easy assembly. Best to use 2 people when assembling.
Took about 15-20 minutes to assemble. Advice: Pad legs with 1 inch rubber
or foam tubing to avoid injury to toes/feet or attach a side board.

Had an old bed frame that was not long enough and very low to the ground, the twin box frames kept falling through. This is a very sturdy bed frame, lots of support. However, I couldnt attach to my headboard as bolt holes did not line up, but I could tyrap it! Easy to assemble. Took maybe 30 mins. I didnt like how high it was at first but I like it now (I did keep the box frame under mattress but you dont have to). I bought some cute fabric baskets to put underneath it for storage. Looks great!
This is definitely a two person job. The metal is heavy duty so its a sturdy bed but putting it together took forever! The pieces it comes with arent labeled at all and slightly different lengths so its pretty much just a guessing game of what goes where.
Shorty after putting it together I moved into a new house and took the frame with me and you have to take it completely apart to move it. I thought maybe it could stay partially intact but I had to take it fully apart so its not practical if youre moving it at all.
Overall sturdy and doesnt feel cheap at all. Assembly will be much easier if you have a second person though.
