While this bedframe is a really great substitute instead of replacing a box spring, buyers should be aware that standard 7,8, or even some 9 mattresses will not have good support if used with this bedframe. In fact, you may even feel like your mattresses is bad on this bedframe unless you add a sheet of underlaymentOSB, plywood, pressedboard or the like on top of this bedframe under your 7, 8 or 9 mattress. This is not mentioned by the seller and if we didnt have another mattress that was a pillowtop larger than 9 we would have returned this bedframe as in our opinion, it does not meet expectations as a box spring replacement/alternative if you are using a standard 7, 8 or 9 mattress.
I would 1000% recommend this frame. We purchased this frame after buying one from a furniture store that only lasted 2 months. Me and my husband are on the heavier side and wanted something bigger and more sturdy and after seeing all the good reviews went ahead and purchased this one and so glad we did! Super easy to put together and it doesnt make a peep when we get on or off or move around. And it has tons of storage space at the bottom which was another thing we were looking for since our room is a bit small. Wish we would have bought this one sooner!
This bed was so easy to assemble by myself, is very sturdy, easy to move around, and tall enough for me to store tons of junk underneath! I saw a review that recommended cutting pool noodles to fit around the legs, which I definitely plan to do to avoid stubbing and breaking any toes.
This bed frame is so sturdy, so simple to assemble and feels extremely durable. Very pleased with my purchase, exactly what I was looking for and very comfortable to sleep on as well. Highly recommend.

Mine cracked a year later. Went from being quite to super noisy in a couple months.
I liked that I could set it up by myself but, now only a year later, I have to get a new one because mine is cracked and it is unsafe.
