Easy to build, they might as well if thrown in the screwdriver. I dont expect this to handle much abuse, but if taken care of I can expect this to lay a long time. Matches my other stuff, love it.
Took me 39 minutes from box to built.
I was able to put it together in 30 minutes, almost exactly, completely by myself. The biggest thing that slowed me down putting this together was the seat. You need a Phillips head screwdriver for this and there are no holes to line up on the bottom of the seat panel. I spent 5-10 minutes looking for my cordless drill to just drive it in. When I couldnt find my drill I pulled up the QandA section to see if anyone else had my problem with no holes. Apparently you just have to push kind of hard and it will go in. This worked for me, no problemo. Now Ive got a cute little bench for storing my shoes. Now the verdict is still out on how well it will clean up when my cat pukes on it, and he will. LOL
Very sturdy and easy to assemble! I was looking for something nice-looking but also effective for getting the shoes off the floor, this works perfect and even has the seating above. As long as you screw in everything tightly, I do not see an issue with it being unstable. I would buy this again!
It is exactly as described . The people who are complaining that holes arent drilled is accurate BUT with a little logic its no big deal. So everything as far as the structure goes has predrilled holes, etc and is easy set up HOWEVER the final step where you attach the bench cushion to the structure is where you run into a problem. There are no pre drilled holes on bottom of the bench cushion so if you are very weak this could be challenging. Heres my suggestion
1.) build the structure and leave attaching the bench cushion for last
2.) then flip the bench cushion AND structure upside down and attach it together with it being upside down
This way you can you use your body weight leverage to screw it into the bench cushion with less effort. Overall assembly took me like 30mins its really not bad at all.
Love this thing. Just put it together this weekend and it spiffied the area by the front door right up. The chair is sturdy enough to accommodate two guests at one time, so no more need to do the one foot hop while putting on or taking off shoes. The cushion is covered with this microfiber type material and is pretty firm. Not uncomfortable to sit on, but definitely not a chair meant to stay on forever, which is perfect because thats not the point of this seat. The fiancee and I are happy with it. Recommend

Fits and looks perfect in our entryway. Exactly what I was looking for. The kids sit on it to put on their shoes. Very sturdy.
