I chose this item because it looked both minimalist and pretty. I was initially worried that the coat rack wouldnt be able to hold heavy jackets, but I can confirm that it can carry two Superdry winter jackets and more with no issues! I was also initially worried that the shoes would dirty the bamboo rack, but it comes with a sturdy plastic sheet for you to lay on top of the rack. I havent sit on it much, but so far it seems to be pretty good material. It was pretty easy to build, but we did have an electric drill to speed things up.
Simple, easy to assemble, pretty, and useful! Definitely a perfect purchase. Especially for small living spaces where there is not really an entrance space, this functional bench is really nice to look at.
I am close to loving it. It fits in the small entry area I have. Three in one - a coat hanger, a seat and a place to leave your shoes. However, I wish the wooden railing was placed the long way as opposed to perpendicular to the long side of the bench - shoes could have fit and stayed better on it.
My Husband is heavy. (200 lbs) Its not quite as sturdy as hed like but it DOES hold him sitting on it to put on his shoes. For me, its perfect. Very Pretty in the Entry of a Florida House. NOT for a Boot Room up North.
The first time this bench arrived, it was damaged straight out of the box. I was glad I saw it before I pulled everything out. The pieces feel sturdy, but it feels like tightly compressed cardboard. Despite this, it feels quite heavy and solid.
Like other people mentioned, the fabric does not hold up well. It comes apart at the seams. After not even six months at the foot of our bed, the fabric at the seams is done. I was hoping that this flaw would not happen to our piece.
Despite all this, I love the design and simplicity of this. It is a heavy piece and the design suits me. I love the shelf underneath the bench. I will be looking out for a similar bench of better quality for when this needs to be replaced. I have even considered having my local carpenter make one for me.
This is not just a lovely staple piece, but it is also incredibly useful! The bench is a nice comfy padded top, so you can set and out your shoes on. Then you get a convenient coat rack attached, that looks like a tree branch. Then the shoe rack part, comes with a nice place insert to lay over, so you dont drop dirt or mess on the shoes below. It is also very easy to set up, only took about 10 minutes, and its a good size, big enough for your shoes and too sit, without taking up too much space. There are so many positives about this, I love it.
The only downside, is the lowest coat hook is a little too low, I have some long coats. Then the fabric of the bench seat has an interesting odor to it. Ive tried to air it out, for awhile now, but I cant get the odor out.
I still really like this, it looks beautiful in my new home, and it gets used daily!

Not Quite Sturdy for More than a 200lb man. For everyone else: GREAT!
