We needed this to store our food after moving to a place with a very small kitchen. The unit required a lot of time and energy to set up, but it was certainly doable. Despite having been around for several months, we still get a smell of glue inside the unit, so if you are sensitive to chemical smells, look elsewhere. Personally, Im fine storing my food in it.
Definitely not one of the easier things to build, thats said once its up its been great.
Husband has grounded me from building new furniture unsupervised by him after I had to take it apart twice, him once, and in the end there is still one peice backwards but its going to stay that way.
Really read the instructions super carefully, really inspect the peices, I missed the inked in N on a raw side of one of the long walls and it was all down hill from there.
I dont like the bottom shelf to low but it is a good place to put things that you dont use very often.
YOU CAN NOT playce anything on the top beware. It has a plank down the middle so the shelfs are not very wide but I am sure that is for support. My husband said he doesnt want me to order anything that has to be put together any more he would rather buy it put together as that way he can check the strength.
The only problem that we had was with one screw that didnt have the necessary hole in the top but that was an easy replacement. We are using it for food storage. Found it easier to attach the hinges to the inside of the cabinet first then attach the doors.
When I pulled out the pieces, two of the panels were damaged. The first picture is just a close up of the second one. Luckily they were center pieces and not the front panels where someone could see. I didnt bother sending back or complaining to the company because it didnt show. I thought I should go ahead and report it. I like the molding on the front because it gives it a more classy look and it does the job it was intended for.
This shelf is very nice and I am happy with it. It even comes with a top wall attachment to avoid falls. The shelves can be placed how one chooses. The storage capacity is good for anyone looking for extra storage which is what I needed. Due to its modern look I am able to have it in my living room next to my kitchen. It is sufficiently sturdy. However, the only reason I gave a four star is because in my opinion it is a lot of work to assemble. Time needs to be devoted to it and with caution. So whoever buys it make sure you are comfortable and patient with assembly. You have to look carefully at the pieces and the pictures on the instructions. Labeling of ALL pieces with stickers and stickers designating up or down would help.

Effort to assemble, smells like glue

Looks Good

Good shelf depth

Hard to assemble, hinges are complicated.
Very hard to put together. Hinges need adjustment by someone with an engineering degree. Flimsy. Lots of rum, Shelves work well.
Looks ok, but prepare for missing hardware
Missing hardware upon arrival we had to go to hardware store to purchase before we could assemble.
Cabinet was damanged

difficult to put together
missing screws, nail, etc. Hard to reach low areas need ing screws, not for older folks to put together.
Very Nice but Requires Assembly and Patience
