We like them and their different style goes well with our leather couch in our rec room. comfortable too. I use a little pillow for my back when sitting. Note from our limited use: they sink a little, depending on the weight of the person sitting in the chair, though we could likely make it higher. Happy with the bar stools!
The stools are nice and seem to be comfortable, however one of them did not work as the hydraulic cylinder that makes the stool move up and down did not work.
The stools are beautiful, as well as comfortable. However, the paint is coming off in less than a months time. I can only think of them being used three times since I put them in my new home. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product.
Bases didnt hold up longer than three weeks with every day use
Started out great but soon went bad. Bought from friend who bought them 2 weeks prior and didnt like them in her room. Trying to find out how to get 2 new bases as these are no longer holding up. Any info would be greatly appreciated as they are still only a couple weeks old.
These swivel stools are just what we were looking for to sit around our kitchen island. They were super easy to assemble, the materials appeared to be high quality, and they are comfortable. I also love that our Roomba can navigate around the bottoms, and the flat black paint is easy to keep clean (versus chrome).
Less than a day after my review posted, I was contacted by regarding the issue of the gas strut weakening. They immediately offered to send replacements (I already have tracking), as well as issuing some credit for the inconvenience. I am upgrading from 1 star to 4 stars for their wonderful customer service. We will be able to continue to use these for longer than I thought, since we were planning on having to buy some new ones once we returned from a brief summer vacation. These barstools started out fine for us. We bought them in late June of 2021. They looked great, and were fairly comfortable. I expected some low back support, but the back rest is so far back that it doesn't give any back support. That was fine, as we tend to lean forward onto our island counter top anyway.
The issues started happening about three months in. These chairs state they can hold up to 265 pounds, but the gas strut on my husband's chair started weakening. He is 215 pounds on a heavy day, and he'd be sitting there and then his chair would slowly start to sink lower and lower. We are now 10 months in on using these and now his chair will randomly just jerk down. I'm 150 pounds, and my chair is now starting to sink lower. I haven't had it lose pressure and fall like my husband's has, yet, but if I'm starting to lose height, than it won't be much longer until my chair starts giving out.

The foot rest isn't durable

Not comfortable unless you're very small. Broke after very little use. Maybe a few days. I weigh 235. Let China keep it.
