Box and parts all received in great shape. Put it together all by myself in 3 hours; easy to do but lots of tightening of parts. Screws and nails all nicely sorted. Only wish is that back piece was same shade of wood and not a boring cardboard. Guess I could have turned around the backer piece but then it would look weird from the other side. Altogether a nice looking cabinet.
For the price, the 2-drawer lateral file cabinet is a great addition to a home office. It looks good, the drawers open and close smoothly, and it is easily configurable for either letter- or legal-size files. My only reservation is that I dont recommend it for people who dont enjoy assembly projects. While a Phillips screwdriver was the only tool I needed to assemble this filing cabinet (apart from the Allen wrench that came with it), it took some coordination and skill to put it together. However, thats why its so affordable. Sending the filing cabinet disassembled saves the manufacturer shipping and labor costs. I didnt mind investing a little sweat equity to get a filing cabinet that looks good and is just the right size for my needs - but it costs $100-150 less than other brands.
6 months after purchasing this furniture, I set a piece of painters tape on the edge to hold it while I was working on a project. When I pulled the tape off a large portion of the laminate came off with it. It was so paper thin and tore so easily that I thought it was a part of the tape that was left behind.
This furniture is garbage and should be avoided at all cost. See photos for evidence. Note the thin, paper-like material that they are trying to pass off as laminate and the ease in which it peeled off the particle board.

Beautiful!! I got the driftwood gray one and its gorgeous! Arrived safely, quickly, and with no damage! Was packed very securely. Was not difficult to put together if you have a little patience and dont try to jump ahead of the directions. Fits perfectly in a small dining room, and offers a welcoming extra surface, and helps greatly to store away some clutter. Has a very homey feel, and now our odd end wall of our dining room looks finished and balanced. Had a hard time finding something that was soft-spoken, correctly sized, AND functional! Extremely pleased with this little cabinet!!!
