Sturdy, beautiful option for teen girls

Fantastic for 2 teens! I didnt know that there are toddler bunk beds and adult bunk beds. So glad we found this gem. I napped on it one day and slept like a baby

    Great bed, fun color!

Very happy with this purchase! It was mostly assembled by one person, with assistance toward the end to hold up and attach the large sections together. This was purchased for my daughter to have more floor space in her room and also to convince her to go to bed alone in her big kid bed. I climb up to change the sheets and have also spent time laying with my daughter. I dont feel that it wiggles too much and it also doesnt make squeaking noises. I also appreciate that the steps are flat, not round, so that you dont hurt your feet. The color is adorable! I am very happy with our new bed!

    Easier with helper

I put this together by myself. Took a bit longer. Once finished it is very sturdy, quiet. Make sure you use ALL the parts or it might well be a little noisy. The mattress support parts rattle if you dont use all the parts. As others have said, the steps do need some sort of coverings. I used 1/2 pipe insulation you can get at any hardware store. I used the 8 Memory Foam Mattress sold by with this, worked very well. I would recommend this bed frame to anyone that wants extra floor space in their room.

    Easy but time consuming assembly

Ive had this bed for my kids for over two years, and its worked really well. Even moving wasnt all that difficult, as I kept the instructions as well as paid special attention to what went where. Like any metal framed furniture, one should tighten the fasteners about a month after assembly and use, and then again every six months or sooner if you feel it needs it. If youre concerned about the use of the top bunk, be sure not to get a mattress that may be too tall. Id keep it between four and eight inches, based on what your needs are. The Futon portion is a little trickier. We had a well made (if thick) mattress on it originally but it was heavy and a bit of a challenge to fold back into the couch form. Now we just use it as a flat bed instead of the futon. Onto the rated features (which Ive answered some of already) Easy to assemble: Mostly, but it does take a while. It can be done by yourself, but its easier with some help. Also, plan to make some room for the assembly. Itll make it much easier. Sturdiness: So far so good. I havent had to tighten anything in several months, but I also dont convert between futon and bed very often. Additionally, we stopped using the top bunk. Storage Capacity: If youre not using the top as a bed / quite a bit. Underneath storage is low and pretty limited, especially if youre converting it often.
