    Good buy

It was easy enough to put together by myself, It did take me a while on my own (3 hours which was what I was expecting. I know if I had help with another person, the time to put it together would have been a lot less which is completely reasonable). The instructions are pretty straightforward and easy to understand. I even like that there is a spare parts bag included just in case you accidentally lose something. I did read other reviews that stated the ladder bars hurt a bit to climb up on, so I did get some cushion for them (pool noodles). Speaking of reading reviews, I noticed that all of the negative reviews happened to be for people who bought the white bedframe and only the white one. The others such as black and green were all high star reviews. So those of you looking at getting this bed, I do highly recommend it!

    Pleasantly surprised

We were gifted the twin over full loft. It does not come with any mattresses. You will need to purchase a twin sized mattress (below 8inch), and a full sized futon mattress. You need to put it together methodically and use common sense. You need to begin by taking everything out of the box and organizing all the pieces. That is a HUGE part. There seems to be 2 parts of putting it together that are not included in the instructions. The first missing instruction, youll need to refer to prior instructions re the same style piece. The final missing instruction youll need to realize you only have one set of screws left so you need to use those. You can put it up by yourself (I had minimal help from my husband). The hardest part was figuring out the moving mechanism on the futon. LOOK AT THE PICTURES. Look at where the holes are facing. That is the key here. If you dont do this, youll think the manufacturer forgot to drill a hole. Also, it comes with a set of spare parts, which is nice. One futon piece had a slightly flattened opening where it should have been round, but my husband was able to rework it pretty easily. One thing other users noticed was that there is no entry to the top bunk. The child has to climb over the entire rail, so not the safest for littles. This is for my 11yr old, so not a big deal. We have normal sized ceilings (im thinking 8ft?) and you can see in my pics how high the bed goes. I doubt my child will stay on the top long.

    Love this

Purchased one for my child. She loved it so we purchased another for my other child. It does shake a little bit. It seems very sturdy and can be anchored to a wall. I like the wide steps to the ladder

No brainer assembly. Quite sturdy, functional.

    Affordable and Sturdy

I gave this 5 stars mostly for customer service. The first bed we ordered was missing a few pieces and had some dings from shipping. They sent us a completely new bed to correct the problem. Since its metal it still has a couple dings from shipping but the second one came with all the pieces. I found it very straight forward and not overly complicated to put it together. It looks great in our daughters room! The pink velvet futon we ordered off of fits perfectly underneath it.

Some bolts need tightening after first week which is normal.

I use a wooden ladder for getting in. Left one side rail off. Only 1 adult at 165 lbs is using. Made huge difference creating space! It arrived very quickly. Like it more than I thought. Full size bed.

Just buy it. This is THE ONE.

Just do not tighten all the bolts fully till its all assembled. Ive put together too many bunk beds in my life already wood, metal. This one gave me ZERO problems. Two person job.

    Perfect Solution to Bunk Beds

We had a queen but required more sleeping space. This fits right over the queen, and provides the extra sleeping space we needed.

Makes a wonderful lofted storage area for.urban renters in small spaces

I live in a densely populated city where rents are absurd, so I can only afford to rent a bedroom in a shared apartment. The most recent room Im renting has no additional storage space in the house. So if I own it, it must go in my bedroom. I spent hours online looking for a sturdy lofted storage system that is free/standing (i.e. renter friendly). I couldnt find anything close to what I needed. Then I realized that I could use a loft bed for storage, and I ended up going with this one. It works nicely for my needs. I have my bed placed perpendicularly under the loft, and my dresser fits under the loft as wellso there is no wasted space under the loft. The bed is sturdy enough to hold: large storage bins with out of season clothing, extra linens, extra packaged food items I cant fit into my food storage area, my bicycle, a light weight guest mattress, a couple of unassembled solid wood end tables, a scanner and a printer I dont have space to leave out when theyre not being used and various smaller light weight items I need but dont have a good place for. I id purchase a bunkie board to create a more uniform surface for the items to sit on. I also have several cat beds and a cat cave box for my kitty who loves to jump onto the loft and chill out there. This loft works well as a storage area and has saved me alot of hassle.

Daughter loves her new loft bed

The bed is strong and sturdy. Its a little difficult to put together by your self but with another helper it pretty quick and easy.
