We like the look of the bench and it is very sturdy. The bench comes in 3 pieces and you have to bolt the sides onto the storage bench with 4 provided bolts and washers. The item was packed well and received with no damage. The only issue i had was that 2 wood screws holding one hinge in place were both stripped and did not hold the hinge in place. Not a huge issue, I just used 1 inch drywall screws and screwed them in at an angle so they held. Not a high-end bench, but pretty nice for the money.
Easy to assemble though the upholstery came with a hole. It didnt bother me enough to return or exchange the item. Box was kinda shabby but again, wasnt an issue. Its sturdy, functional, and stylish. The bench has found its home in my entry way. I store shoes underneath it and miscellaneous dog items (leash, harness, treats, travel bowl, etc) inside of it. Easy access when leaving or entering. Would recommend.
I purchased this bench along with a mirror to updated older ones we had in place in the ladies room of our law firms bathroom. The bench is very stylish and has a functional storage area under the seat where some of our staff keep their feminine products for discrete, ease of access, when needed in the ladies room.
