A lot of reviews point out how short this bench is. If youre looking for something to go at the foot of a bed, you would probably want the taller legs some have ordered. But I was needing something that would fit under our enclosed fireplace screen to store my grand daughters toys. I wasnt sure if the storage capacity would be deep enough for more than her books and animals, yet it even holds her ball! She can open the lid herself to get to what she wants. Its sturdy enough for an adult to sit on, so it works perfectly for our need.
Well, I saw the reviews regarding the short legs but bought it anyway. I obviously didnt understand how short short was. The legs are probably 3 or 4 inches. They werent wrapped well and had a bunch of scuff marks as they banged against each other inside the bench during shipment. Please note that my cat is not a big cat and I dont have a big bed. The bench is short. Perfect for a 5 yo.
I bought new 10 legs on . They were packaged well and it looks so much better and is at a better height fit for an adult.
