This futon is super functional. Its great for small spaces. If people sleep on it, Id recommend getting a mattress pad for it. Sitting on it is SOO uncomfortable. You can feel the springs on your butt. If you just need a futon for guests that you will not use or sit on, go for it because it is chic. But so uncomfortable.

Let's start with the sofas look itself. It looks great and stylish in comparison to the boring sealy futons that you see for 150
For 150 more, my wife and I thought this was a steal. It saves space and can fit a 6 foot person inside laying down. The cushion is firm and not super plush so that might be the complaint. You can feel the wood if you sit closer to the edge but that is understandable.
The legs hide inside the back rest and unzip out nicely to be laid out.
The construction of the sofa was easy and the way they packaged it was smart. Take your time when you contruct it. Don't rush and the item will be solid.
I have had no concerns on the quality. The only issue was that there was smudge on the front left side but it should be easy to remove.
There is a little creak on the right side if I sit close to the wood.
Take it easy on this couch. For the price its amazing just be kind to it and don't jump or crash onto it.
The back cushions can adjust at three levels
-upright at 90 degrees
- slant where you can lean back
- flat
Pros: Inexpensive, looks nice, functional
Cons: Not super comfortable (no big deal, as it's just in my office as a spare bed for a guest), smells weird for a few days (Febreze helped that), and there were smudges on the fabric when I opened the box (they came out with a little soap and hot water)
Edited to add: I went back to buy a second one of these for another room and the price has gone up more than $200! WTF. This couch is not worth $500.

Better with two people, but easy to assemble. Its a beautiful color, and a streamlined design. Its not a sink in and relax kind of couch, but rather very sturdy. So it works if you dont prefer a slouchy look. Im using it in my home office where I need another place to sit but it doesnt work for it to be too mushy/cushy.

It is a little smaller than I thought. I thought it opened into a full size bed, but it is just a single.
