Assembly was great.
The drawer mechanism will cause problems for multiple people. The drawers are just rolling baskets under the platform. There is no latch it is actually a pin with a recessed hole that you have to push down on. The whole drawer has to be pushed down on to unsecure it. This will inevitably be torn out of the bed frame. I will look at doing magnets or some other form of attachment.
Like everyone else saidyes, the screws are exposed. Yes, theres random dings and imperfections in the wood and hardware. The drawers are minuscule. The trundle bed itself takes two people to pull outit is NOT easy. Overall super disappointed.
After I built it in about an hour with a manual screw driver I jumped on my bed for about 5 or 8 minutes and thing held up Im 60 195 so theres that. it is plywood from the looks of it maybe sawdust but its heavy enough for the size Id buy another one if I needed to. drawers under the bed lock in place when closed and as usual watch out for the corners once built your shins will thank you later

I opted to secure all joints and fasteners with wood glue, except for platform to base for ease of moving.
I used 1/2 wide by approximately 30 of felt tape along the bottom edges so it does not scratch the floors and is easy to slide around the room.
feels sturdy enough, looks ok, and is compact, and will allow me to size up from my queen to full if i want to do so in the future.
drawers are functional and decent for the price range.

One thing needs to be added is an edge to the back of the trundle bed so the mattress doesnt slide all the time! In total its just ok for a short amount of time.

When you are just laying in bed, they are fine, but if you have extracurricular time in the bed, those cross members tend to pop out of their little cut outs. No amount of adjustment will fix this issue, as I have to keep popping them back into place a few times a week, and re tightening all the hardware every few weeks. Kind of a headache actually. When this platform eventually fails, I will not buy another. But in the meantime, it serves its purpose.
This bed is nice and sturdy. I put it together by myself with minimal help from my 10yr old daughter. It was super easy. While shes only had it for a week, the material is nice and sturdy, and the bed is perfect for her room.

This bed is pretty high, so be ready to climb into bed. I love how pretty it is. It took about two and a half hours to put it together.

Well made and beautiful
This bed is beautiful, is very well made and Im sure Ill last many years. Is really heavy but I guess thats a good thing.
