The photo the seller provides is an accurate depiction of the item fully assembled. The Chair is lovely and comfortable and supportive enough on its own, and is a perfectly fine chair for any sitting room. I bought it for use in my bedroom, for myself to sit in frequently when I work on my computer with a lap desk. I gave it a 4 Star because I did not first take into account my specific measurements in a seated position. It is easily assembled. Once assembled the back measures 19 to 20 in height. I needed approximately 30 minimum. This resulted in my not being able to spontaneously rest my head backwards a bit, in a resting position. I am keeping it, using a lumbar pillow for better sitting up straight support to prevent me from getting too comfy. For me it was too labor intensive to dis-assemble it. Once assembled the parts are firmly in place and then to place it back in the enormous box it arrived in going through the effort to return it at all its easier to keep it and adjust to its dimensions or more accurately, mine.

However, after some time I noticed a bit of separation where the buttons were located on both arms and reached out to with my concerns. They responded IMMEDIATELY and explained, unfortunately they couldnt replace the cushion so to speak but would send me another chair altogether. AMAZING customer service coupled with a beautiful product makes this company number one all the way around in my book!
Happy with my purchase. The chair worls well in my living room. The purple adds a pop a color to my gray room, couch etc. the chair is comfortable but its not meant to sit in for a long period of time. Its nice for extra seating and reading a book or having a cup of tea/coffee in the morning. Pillow in picture was not included.
It was super easy to assemble and is super comfy. My cat keeps stealing my chair, Hes old and peed on it, but it was easy to dismember and clean it and I was shock that it dry really fast as well (a day, air dry).
It seems like it would be comfortable, but the pillow at the top is not movable and hits just wrong. Maybe okay for a small child, but even then, it would be pushing the head forward. I really like everything else about this chair, though.
