This fireplace is absolutely beautiful. It took my husband 3 hours to assemble and the directions got complicated toward the end. The only complaint I have have about it is the two doors do not close smoothly.
I paid for the expert assembly team to put this together because I did not have the time (worth it). With two men, they took about an hour and a half. I was very pleased with the look and the sturdiness of the stand. It feels very solid. Also, I have a mounted 75 inch tv and this stand was a perfect fit.
I gave 4 stars because the left door doesnt stay closed. There is a magnet on the inside but there is not one on the door which is kind of strange. We bought a few small door magnets and will see how it works. So far, thats my only complaint.
Update: after purchasing the door magnets, the doors close perfectly!! (See third photo)
This is a very sturdy unit. Ive got it for my 65 inch tv and its perfect. The color matches my Ashley cocktail table and end tables. Take your time putting it together. Its not difficult but tedious. I recommend using saw horses in a large room to assemble so that youre in a standing position during assembly. Its easier on the back and easier to move when ready. Highly recommend.
We purchased this because we needed something to hold our new larger TV. It was pretty easy to assemble, but it did need 2 people to help stabilize it and line everything up to finally screw everything together. It looks really nice in our living room, and allow for plenty of room for other TV peripherals and decorations,
Was a bit time intensive putting it together but I did use some wood cement in all the screw and other connections to hold it solid. It has a great look to it its just the right size for my 1 bedroom apartment. Hold a large older Panasonic flat screen that weighs 97 pounds without a problem. Once assembled it looks great and is just what I needed.
