Its a gorgeous piece of furniture, but there are some flaws it that could compromise sturdiness. Some of the connections uses a camlock and bolt set, which works well with other furniture that Ive assembled. But these camlocks do not stay tight, several times throughout assemply the cam locks would loosen and fall out,causing the parts to separate. I ended up scuffing the finish as I had the flip it on its back in order rescrew the camlocks on the bottom for the fifth time, and luckily there were extra stickers as I had to tighten the camlocks holding the partitions after installing the doors.
Also, screw in the door magnets to the partitions before putting the top on, otherwise its a pain as the top rim gets in the way.
Instructions are great, hardware is good. The door hinge holes are slightly off so no amount of adjusting the hinges prevents the doors from dragging when opening and closing them. All in all its a nice unit
Beautiful and sturdy. Absolutely love the barn door look. It has plenty of storage for all electronics like cable box, PS, XBox, DVDs, games and more. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Love it so much I ordered the bookshelf to go with it.
My 13 year old son and I assembled this and it was pretty easy until we got to installing the doors. The predrilled holes were too small for the screws that were provided. We had to use a bit to resize the holes so we could attached hinges.
Plenty of storage space, did take a while to assemble both not as difficult as other furniture Ive assembled. It is more of a lighter gray in person so it doesnt match the rest of my furniture perfectly but honestly it doesnt bother me none. Holds up our 75in perfectly.
