It was just the way they described. When I received the box it was fairly small, it was in a vacuum packed bag. When I opened it the chair was perfect. My 10 year old uses it for video games.
As a chair not great but for extra sleeping space for small children it worked great. You need to have extra closet space for storage after you are done with them
PROS:
Comfy and roomy as a chair (would make a great chair to curl up and read in). Easy to unfold into a bed and refold. Light enough to move from room to room. Bed is wide enough for a curvy adult and long enough for an average height adult. (Guest was 56). Color goes well with most decor.
CONS:
Bed is extremely uncomfortable!
Fantastic and comfortable. Two can fit together to look like/work like a small sofa. I just bought a third. It is also great fun to open the package, because it is compressed when it is shipped, and then expands when you release the vacuum.
If I could buy this product again, would I? No. Theres a blue couch sleeper from that is like 150 bucks or so. I bought that couch and removed the legs from it and was hoping this chair would be the same thing. In reality, its really short and uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time. Def buy something else. Easy to transport up a flight of stairs though.
For the very small room with steep dormer ceiling that I purchased this chair to use in, it is perfect. It is surprisingly comfortable and folds out easily to make extra sleeping space when needed.
