The was a bit of a bad smell when I first opened it of course because its foam) but that went away after a day. The foam isnt great, I can hear it squish when I sit on it. But it will do as a chair/emergency bed/camp bed for my tiny apartment.
I slept on this as my bed for two years during my undergrad. It was great and portable and fit in my hyundai elantra backseat. I had to carry it up a narrow staircase and it was fine to do. The only issue is that if you want to use it as a couch, it would be best to lean the back agains a wall, otherwise the back of the couch part cannot hold much weight if you try to lean back.
Am making a little reading area under my stairs and this is perfext to lay and read a nice book or even lay and then I can use it when we have movie night love it It looks bigger then the pictures worth buying it
I bought 2 for extra chairs and spare guest sleeping in my office. I wish I had purchased a different color, gray just doesnt quite work but will keep. Theyre Ok. A little difficult to sit in for casual seating. Theyre a little short but will be perfect for the grandkids.

I purchased this for use in our 5th wheel camper as a sleeping spot for our teenaged daughter. I appreciate the ease of use and she appreciates that it way more comfortable than the standard pull out sofa that is found in your typical camper. This was a great purchase.
I ordered this futon for my 7 year old niece to sleep on while visiting. It worked out really well. We folded it up during the day and easily made it up for her at night. The only negative comment I have is that its difficult to pick up and move around. I think some built-in handles would have been beneficial.

Should have bought a darker shade. The green gets dingy fast. Comfy foam bed tho.
